I'm still new at the Couchsurfing Project and yesterday I had my first experience in Sweden. Anna from Hamburg in Germany contacted me many weeks ago wanted to have a coffee break with me in the region I'm living and she thought I was in Kristianstad.
But I was in Malmö because I live with my family during summer time. Yesterday was our first and only meeting as she would go to Ystad, another smaller town southern than Malmö.
We met at Mollevangstorget, a hipp and cool square in Malmö at 10 am. From there we were supposed to go having a chat and drink at the chocolate café but it hadn't open yet so we went further to the Triangle shopping mall and from there we decided to walk further down the main street in Malmö towards Gustav Adol's Square and Train station to find a better café. We ended up at Barista, Malmo's first and only Fair trade café. There we had a good chat for almost 2 hours. Afterwards Anna was going back to her hostel to meet her sister so they could drive to Ystad.
We got to learn to know each other and she wanted to see the picture where I had my chef clothes on me. See this entry Anna, as the picture is followed by a good memory.
