I had a sore throat for 2 weeks, what a pain when I needed to use my voice and be social. I feel like when I have no friends left here, it's really empty. It's my first year having no friends and still need to struggle with school work. I feel like I wanna give up and just do soemthing different for a while. I guess I'm still depressed from not having any friends here, the amount of work piling up on my desk and tired for chasing friends to get them to call me.

I am sorry to read that you have no friends. Sick and feeling alone can't be pleasant. Don't give up. I would be your long-distance pen pal :) Meanwhile keep posting.
